ABC Motors: The new Nissan Navara hits the Mauritian roads
Great news for off-road lovers… ABC Motors has recently launched the new Nissan Navara on the local market! The new generation of the Japanese large pickup boasts a perfect combination of horsepower and brain power. Its muscular and sporty design, especially in the PRO-4X and PRO-2X versions, will have you under its spell with its appealing black tones.
The seven trim levels, available at ABC Motors showroom, are powered by a 2.5-litre turbo diesel engine that develops 160 or 188 horsepower and 403 or 450 Newton metres depending on the version. The best-equipped versions have a seven-speed automatic transmission while the others have a six-speed manual gearbox for optimum power command during loading or hauling.
This new Nissan Navara offers unprecedented levels of dynamic styling, luxury interior comfort, latest connectivity technology and all-terrain driver safety technology. Thanks to its true off-road capabilities and on-road performances, it shall dominate on all terrain.
For a smooth and comfortable trip, the vehicle is equipped with an ‘Intelligent Around View Monitor’, giving better vision on rough terrain through its specialised ‘Off-Road Mode’. This advanced driver technology provides a clear view of the surrounding terrain for greater confident navigation across any surface type.
Audible and visual information
The inbuilt intelligent cameras allow the detection of moving objects around the vehicle, making it easier and safer to park in tight spaces.
For enhanced safety, the Moving Object Detection (MOD) device alerts the driver through audible and visual information by displaying a yellow frame where a moving object has been detected, thus offering total confidence around every corner.
In addition to the standard safety features, the new Navara comes with an intelligent Trailer Stability Assist and Hill Descent Control.
